STEAL SUMMERS LOOK: BOOHOO CHARMAINE OFF SHOULDER STRIPE MIDI DRESS

How often do I drill into your heads how important comfortability is to me. I can’t stress it enough! That’s exactly what I saw when I found this Boohoo “Charmaine Off Shoulder Strip Midi Dress”.

This strip midi dress is all comfort and chic. I love the off the shoulder detail that adds a slight sexiness to it but not too much. And depending on what you pair it with can you give old Hollywood glamour. That’s the feeling I got when I paired it with my blush pink feather barely there heels and oversized nude sunglasses. 

The shoes were a grab from again Easy Pickens (yall sleep tho) a few months back and only cost me about $25-$27. Style doesn’t come with an expensive price tag. I’m trying to tell yall…stay woke.

The sunglasses and the hair brushed back full out volume is what really added to that 50’s old Hollywood glamour look. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you guys I snatched these sunnies from a street vendor on Fordham Road in the Bronx for $10. Yup….Baby girl be styling on a budget. 

The mix of the stripes and feathers added a flair to the look for a nice late summer/early fall ensemble. But that doesn’t mean I’m packing it away when the temperature drops. I plan to rock this bad boy with my heeled combat boots, flat lace up knee high boots, faux fur vests, long bombers, and more.

Ok, so you know I give you all the real and I’m very honest with you all and there was one detail of the dress I was not enthused about. I was not at all fond of the open bottom sleeves so I tucked them inside for most of the shots. I will be taking it to a cleansers to have them close it up or I might try my hand at it first. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve tailored a garment to my liking.
