TOPSHELF 87TH ANNUAL OSCARS RED CARPET FAVES

I’m not usually a fan of the Oscars however I’m always a fan of a red carpet situation. These red carpet award shows always show the most elegant of gowns and I had to share my faves with you guys.

Let’s start with the lovely Lupita Nyong’o. She wore a beautifully crafted Calvin Klein gown of pearls. My favorite part of the dress was the design in the back area. It was just amazing!

Jamie Chung WOWED me! I’m not a full cinderella skirt type gown girl but I loved the edge to this Yanina gown. Be it the black lace and nuder underlay it just went perfectly together.

Zoe Zoe Zoe!!!! Those twins did her well. She wore draped Versace gown in a soft blush pink hue. Her new mommy curves looks sexy and stunning. She almost looked like an life size Oscar standing so elegantly.

I feel so torn with Jennifer Lopez choice of gown. Ofcourse she looked stunning in her Elie Saab Couture gown but gain I’m not a fan of full skirts. Luckily for the designer she is the type of woman that own what ever she is wearing. J.Lo is wearing that dress, the dress is not wearing her!

Rosamund Pike’s strapless Riccardo Tisci gown was beautiful! It just looked like a dress of full bloom red roses. Beautifully crafted and fit to perfection.

My favorite of the night was actually worn by Katie Cassidy. She wore a Julien MacDonald silver appliqué gown. I loved the peekaboo sheer detailing and the silver appliqué embellishment throughout the entire gown.
