BEAUTY NEWS: AJA NAOMI KING AS L’OREAL NEW SPOKESWOMAN

Nothing warms my heart and makes me root, “YASSS SIS!” more than when I see another black woman win. That was exactly my feeling when I heard that Aja Naomi King was named the newest spokeswoman for L’Oreal Paris. Let’s Go Sis!

You may be familiar with Aja Naomi King from the hit show How To Get Away With Murder. The beauty is expanding her brand ambassador duties becoming the newest spokeswoman for L’Oreal Paris joining the ranks of esteemed celebs such as Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria, Elle Fanning, and Camila Cabello. Aja first fell in love with makeup watching her Mom do her makeup daily using her go-to L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour. She also adds:

“Makeup became my armor growing up. It provided me with a sense of protection and gave me the power and confidence to face the world in the way I wanted.”

This must of resonated with the French cosmetic brand with he philosophy of “Because I’m Worth It”! Tim Coolican, President, L’Oréal Paris USA, released a statement stating:

With the all the Black Girl Magic Aja radiates it’s only right that for her first campaign she’ll represent the new True Match Lumi Glow collection. The True Match Lumi Glow collection will consist of 5 products: Glotion Natural Glow Enhancers, Glow Nude Palette, Shimmerista Powder, Glow Boosting Drops, and a Bronze it Bronzer.
