TOPSHELF BEAUTY NEWS: MAC x BAO BAO WAN SPRING 2015 COLLECTION

I swear MAC pumps out more product than any other cosmetic retailer I know. But I’m not even mad. This time they’ve teamed up with one of China’s most renowned and striking beautiful, I might add, stars Bao Bao Wan for a new Spring 2015 Collection.

Just by taking a gander I’m loving the regal pigments and hues. The collaboration is said to be inspired by the womanly and brazen aesthetics of Wan. They’ve also tapped into her admiration for metallic golds and rich jewel tones in the new collection. Let’s take a peak at the full collection below.

 

Colors from left to right: 

Burmese Kiss = which is a bright coral pink in a matte finish
Forbidden Sunrise = which is a creamy orange in a matte finish
Lavender Jade = which is a dirty mauve with gold pearls in a matte finish
Romantic Breakdown = which is a sheer nude in a lustre finish

 

 

The nail polishes I must admit I don’t quite care for although they do have a great pigment. I think I’ll stick to lippes, lip pencils and my other cosmetic obsessions I can’t live without from MAC. Imperial Green = spring green with multidimensional pearl
Kashmir Blue = royal blue with gold pearl

Now this beauty powder, in Summer Opal, I can get jiggly wit! I reminds me of my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Sun Powder in Natural….and I just the crap out of that especially in the summer months. So this may be a new staple. I’ll keep you updated on that.
