STEAL SUMMERS LOOK: ORANGE AND DENIM EVERYDAY PEOPLE DAY PARTY

Spring time in NYC leads to all the wonderfully themed Day Parties that I enjoy oh so much. So when my bestie alerted me that Everyday People I didn’t have to worry about what to wear because I had just took advantage of a sale at ZARA racking up on a bunch of tops. Is it just me but I feel like I never have enough tops. Anyway, let’s get into this comfy yet cute around the way girl look I put together for the Everyday People day party.

I knew from the beginning that at these day parties comfortability is key. You do get the occasional girls in 4 inch stilettos but I’m not knocking it. What one persons comfort level is may differ from another. So you see a mixture of ladies in heels and sneakers. I chose to wear a green suede block heeled caged bootie. Perfect type of heel for an event where you may be standing for a lengthy period of time. These booties were part of the awesome shoe finds of last summer at Easy Pickins. Unfortunately Easy Pickens doesn’t have a suitable website that shows their wide array of cute shoes for such low prices. Word to the wise next time you walk past a Easy Pickins don’t be too hesitant to walk in. I’m just saying!

 

 

Ofcourse I wanted to look cute but my main thing is always of comfort. I dress for me not to impress others so this cropped oversized sweatshirt was just the ticket. The bright orange color was a shift away my normal black or grey which is a great spring color and perfect for summer nights. I told y’all I went ham on their sale, this ZARA cropped sweatshirt was only $19.90. This can we worn with denim jeans as I did or with some high waisted wide leg trousers, or a pencil skirt. All depends on what vibe and look you’re going for. It also comes in Black, Light Pink, and Grey.

 

 

Denim is always a good idea if you ask me. And as a curvy girl I’ve fallen in love with American Eagle Outfitters Hi-Rise Jeggings in short. It’s hard finding jeans that fit the hips and booty, not too big in the waist, and the perfect length for us 5ft Divas. These are actually my 2nd pair of these same exact jeans. I love them just that much. I’ve also purchased other styles from them that fit perfect. What I love about American Eagle Outfitters is that they usually have Buy One Get One 50% off on their jeans. I will forever stack up with sales like that. The fraying at the bottom looks so sexy with heels and sandals.
