LET’S TALK HAIR: REMIXED CORNROW STYLES
Sometimes you just have to switch things up. Especially when the temperatures in New York are reaching up to 100 degrees with a very high humidity percentage and your lace front wigs are just not an option anymore. Take a look at my remixed cornrow protective style that is saving the day.

I’ve been eyeing, obsessing, and even created a folder in my phone of multiple cornrow styles. I just wasn’t sure when I would be trying any one of these styles on for size. I mean, I’m used to my wigs with flowing waves or sleek tresses, deep side parts and even parts in the middle. I also wasn’t a fan of putting my five head on display. But mother nature left me no choice as my wigs just were not a good look. Imagine wearing a fitted had in dead of summer, in the middle of a heat wave, with up to 5 bundles of hair on top of it. You see it? You feel it? Now snatch it off.
That’s exactly what I did. I snatched the wig off washed, conditioned, blow dried and prepped my hair for my 11 braid cornrow protective style. I wanted something classic but a little up to date. So I went with the classic straight backs but with every other braid in variation of size from big to skinny to big to skinny reaching all the way to my butt. This style only took approximately a hour to an hour and half to complete and was very inexpensive compared to making or purchasing custom wig units.
I thank God for Danielle whole SLAYED these braids and LAYED these edges for me.
