STEAL SUMMERS LOOK: FOREVER21 DRAPED OPEN FRONT DUSTER

I have this theory that since I’m on my “body under construction” journey I refuse to purchase clothing in a size I am not committing to. However the shopaholic in me found ways to satisfy my shopping fix.

When you’re fluctuating in weight there are those few things that really don’t matter, depending how much of a weight/size difference it is, you’ll still be able to fit. Things like dusters, jackets, vests, mainly outerwear and dresses. I’ve been soo in love with Kim Kardashians trench coat/duster obsession that I decided to try the look for myself. I knew exactly where to go to get an inexpensive duster to give this look a try.

I found a lightweight semi sheer draped open front duster jacket at Forever21. It was exactly what I needed from the dreamy lightweight draped look, to the long sleeves, and its longline design. It can with a belt that for the most part I kept it tied to the back because it wasn’t to be worn to close. I mean even though it was like 25 degrees outside I couldn’t sacrifice the look. I ended up picking it up in cream and a khaki military green hue. I can already see me styling it with great spring and summer looks for those nights when the weather cools down a bit.
