I first got a taste of these beautiful sneakers when Tracee Ellis Ross wore them on BET’s 106 and Park. Since then the men’s luxury sneaker line caught the attention of a string of female celebs alike searching for the smaller sizes. This opened up the idea of a Buscemi Womens Collection.

The Buscemi Womens Collection is ready to launch this spring! That’s right we can thank Rihanna and model Jourdan Dunn for the Long Island, New York Designer to expand his shoe line to include women. The Buscemi Womens Alta sneaker is a high top sneaker concealing a 2″ heel. It maintains its full grain Italian calf leather with hand painted edges. What I love so much about the sneaker is the 18karat gold-plate padlock and key fob embellishments drawing inspiration from a Birkin bag.

The Buscemi Womens Alta sneaker is of high quality and comes in 5 different color ways (Powder Blue/ Black, Medium Tan/ Black, White, Red, and Black). As of right now they can be found at Colette in Paris and Mayfield in L.A. A little birdy has left word that Barneys New York is even interested in carrying the collection….for men!
