STEAL SUMMERS LOOK: OVERSIZED EVERTHING
It’s not hard to notice how much the oversized look is all over place. I personally love it because it takes the pressure away of being snatched on 10 all day everyday. Not to mention the comfortability.

Some of you may be thinking this is a different look for me and you’re right! But, I’ve quickly fallen in love with the oversized trend. Now don’t me wrong, I’m not jumping out the window buying everything oversized however it’s easy to pull off the trend with a few simple pieces.
With this look I went full oversized mode! The Denim Boyfriend Jacket I’m wearing is from American Eagle Outfitters. This is one of those main staples to slay the oversized look with practically anything. Pair this with a mini slip dress, a midi dress, a bodycon jumpsuit, etc. For $59 this denim jacket turns out to be a great transitional investment piece.
I took my oversized look full throttle with the Sarah Ashcroft Oversized Pocket Front Dress from Missguided. I loved that it was nude because I knew I would be able to pair it with just about any color shoe or boot. I also loved the long airy sleeves and soft not too heavy cotton of the shirt dress. This shirt dress was $34 but if that’s not in your budget they currently have similar oversized tshirt dresses on sale.
To top is off I slid on a pair of old suede over-the-knee boots from Bakers, (now you can tell how old they really are lol). I had these boots for so long that at some point when I fluctuated in weight I had a hard time getting them over fully up my leg and over my knee. That’s when I crafty Summer came out and I cut a small slit in the back of the boot behind my knee to ease up some of the tension so I can get them to go fully up and over-the-knee. Why throw them away when I can customize them to my leg.
If you’d like to re-create this look I’d love to see it. Tag me in your pictures on Instagram @iamsummerterry and let me see how you slay the oversized trend.
