New month, new book! I’m really trying to stick to this a different book every month thing. Reading feeds my soul. It has since I was a child. The only thing that has changed is the kind of books I choose to read. And that changes with what’s going on in my life at the moment.

Lately, I’ve been focusing and putting a lot of my energy on my businesses and through that I’ve learned that the success of your business is aligned with your life. If your life is a mess how can you expect your business to flourish? This month I decided on Eat. Pray. Hustle: Dream Chasing God’s Way by Havilah Cunnington. This is a bible study that teaches you how to nurture your dreams as well as expose what Dream Killers look like. I felt the need to choose this book because as an entrepreneur you get those moments where you question your choices. You question whether if entrepreneurship is for you, you question if people will support your dreams, and you question every little detail. But see that ain’t nothing but the devil because as long as your faith is strong God is going to see you through to your dreams and bless your businesses. And that’s what was happening to me. I felt like the devil was playing on my fears of failure and I needed something to feed my soul to help me raise my faith levels back up.

This book seems to be a short read so I might be coming back at you with another book for this month. We’ll see.
