HEALTHY LIVING: TRACEE ELLIS ROSS GRACES APRIL HEALTH MAGAZINE COVER

If this is what 44 looks like sign me up! Traces Ellis Ross is gracing the April cover of HEALTH Magazine in a all her super fine bad ass Black Girl Magic. Reading her interview just solidified in my head what I already knew…that she is the big sister/older cousin I wish I had.

I couldn’t not take my eyes off her perfectly long lean and toned from ascending from the fixtures in the features spread. It’s no surprise Tracee works hella hard for that killer body but she does not kill herself to get those results. She talks about her workout regimen which I find surprising because she only works out 3 maybe 4 times a week. I honestly expected her to say 5 – 6 days to those results that it not the case. Along with her weekly workouts that include targeted booty-cises lol she does not believe in starving yourself.

Ross explains, “I have a rule about eating. It has to pass two tests: Not only taste good in my mouth, but it also has to feel good in my stomach. So a lot of foods that are good in the mouth, 10 minutes later? I’m cursing myself”. So let me get this straight Ms. Ross, no crazy extensive week long workouts and no food deprivation. I think if more women thought more about how their bodies felt and not just how it looked there would be less girls walking around with lack of confidence. But that’s just my opinion.

Traces also goes on to give up her skin secrets and how eliminating smoking, alcohol, and coffee from her life attributes to her youthful glow.
