STEAL SUMMER’S LOOK: FASHION MADE ME DO IT

Fashion has made me do plenty of things. Some really hasty decision and bad choices but this one was not one of them.

I’ve been the girl to drop large amounts of cash on material items. However, that was when I had little to no responsibilities, still living at home, and dispensable cash flow. As I’ve gotten older I learned how to shop smarter while still maintaining my sense of style and fashion. If you are no stranger to my blog then you know that’s what goes down here, coin conscious shopping and styling.

This brings me to my red House of Rehab quilted crossbody purse. House of Rehab is a black owned small fashion and lifestyle boutique that speaks to all women who love fashion and I might even say have an obsession with it. I have been following the brand and its owner, Ashlee for quite some time waiting for the right item that spoke to me that I could bring home.

I have been searching for the perfect quilted crossbody purse for a few months. Although I did find some options nothing really grabbed attention. Once I saw the Fashion Made Me Do It splattered all over this bright red quilted crossbody purse I knew it was mine. I can say I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the purse upon receiving it in the mail. The leather is very sturdy, the craftsmanship of the purse is impeccable, the gold twist and lock hardware and adjustable chain crossbody strap gives that luxe feel and vibe , and the hand painted “Fashion Made Me Do It” speaks to the around the way Bronx chick that I rep so heavily. Did I even get into how spacious the and secure the zippered inside of the bag is? I can fit all my beauty essentials in here (mini mirror, face powder & brush, up to 3 lippie options, lash glue, an tweezers), all of my on the run necessities (portable charger & cord, hand sanitizer, tampon, feminine wipes, gum/mints, and a pen). Then there’s a smaller zippered section for funds and cards and a pocket in the back for any flat items you procure during your outing. I can take this purse to dinner, date night, brunch, festivals, concerts you name it. It’s a hands free fashion statement for sure!
