BEAUTY: PHYSICIANS FORMULA “THE HEALTHY FOUNDATION”

I’m not one for foundations anymore because they always feel so heavy even if it doesn’t look heavy. I’m more of a tinted moisturizer girl so you can imagine my surprise when I received a complimentary Influenster VoxBox to review of Physicians Formula “The Healthy Foundation”. Although I was sent this product to review I will give my utmost honest opinion. So with that said let’s get into it!

When I got the email from Influenster I was excited because come on, who wouldn’t be excited to get free makeup. I had never tried Physicians Formula before and wasn’t familiar with it at all to be honest. But I was open to trying it since all I’ve been wearing lately is tinted moisturizer. The hardest part of the process was picking my shade. I mean who picks a foundation shade without swatching it on themselves first but here I am in shade Pf10603 DpC1!

To my understanding this is the first time Physicians Formula has expanded their shade range beyond 2-4 selections to a full 16. The Healthy New Foundation is a lightweight buildable long-wear foundation. I can honestly say from the moment I put it on to evening hours I hardly felt like I had anything on. It’s so breathable that even after adding on your favorite concealer, highlight and contouring steps, bronzer, additional highlight, and finishing powder you STILL wouldn’t know you had anything on. Light as a feather and I didn’t experience any shine in my t-zone area after a couple hours as I do with a lot of other foundations.

If I wasn’t impressed with the flawless glow it gave me I was pleased to know that it was packed with an antioxidant blend of Vitamins A, C, and E as well as SPF 20 to protect your skin. I try not to wear much makeup in the summer months but now if i have to I’ll grab this because it already has skin protection built in and it’s only $14.95. If I had to have a Con about the Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation it would be to remove the soft applicator tip. I like to put my makeup on my beauty blender and apply it that way.
