STEAL SUMMER’S LOOK: WU-TANG FIT AT THE BRONX PUBLIC SUNDAY BRUNCH
What is one thing women love to do on the weekends? You got it Brunch! But that doesn’t always call for pleated skirts, fancy blouses, and sophisticated heels. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Sex and The City inspired brunch look. However, I’m a Bronx Chick and I love a good street chic look. With all that said let’s get into this fit for Sunday brunch.

On the weekends me and my girls love to get together for a good brunch. Luckily majority of us live uptown in the Bronx so it’s never a choice of where to go when we don’t want to head into the city. We head to our fave brunch spot The Bronx Public! It’s such a chill spot with a dope vibe, good music, bottomless mimosas and Ah-maze-ing food (you have to try their signature wings, Rose’ Donuts & the Biscuits w/ Honey Butter). They even have life size games such as Jenga and Connect Four. You can see why I wasn’t pressed to pull out the pearls. I just wanted to enjoy a chill brunch in a chill look where I can eat and drink as much as I wanted without feeling uncomfortable in tailored pieces.
So on this occasion I decided to pull out a vintage Wu-Tang oversized mens t-shirt overlayed by deep indigo mens Woolrich Miners Wash Flannel shirt so that I wouldn’t have to worry about tummy bloat from the bottomless mimosas I planned on partaking in lol. To add some edge to the look I pull out some black wide stripe sheer tights from H&M and emerald blue/green faux suede over the knee boots. Very street chic don’t you agree? And to add a little bit of luxe I completed the look with an updated Fendi Forever Mama bag.
We had such as amazing time we literally stayed for 8 hours lol. We ate, drank, played games, even had time to get in some photos at the laundry mat next door. If you’re ever in the Bronx and looking for a good fun brunch spot where you can keep it sweet street chic then The Bronx Public is it.
