DESIGNER DUPES: YEEZY SEASON 4 STRETCH CANVAS LACE UP BOOTS
Ahhh boot season is approaching. One of my favorite things about fall and winter fashion. I live for a good ankle and thigh high boot action. Which brings me to our designer dupe. How many of you fawned over the YEEZY Season 4 Stretch Canvas Lace Up Boots when we first spotted Mrs. West debut them at the top of the year? I know I was, but if you’re as frugal as I am you know I wasn’t about to spend YEEZY money so I found a more affordable dupe that no one would deny strutting in.
These YEEZY Season 4 Stretch Canvas Lace Up Boots remind me of an ode to Monolo Blahnik’s Oklamod Suede Cuffed Timberland Bootie but more sleek and less rustic. They are the perfect grand slam closer for any look whether sweatpants, a long fur, distressed mom jeans or a mock neck bodycon mini as Kim so effortlessly showed us countless times.
After doing a few searches to see how much these YEEZY Season 4 Stretch Canvas Lace Up Boots were going for almost a whopping 9 months post release I was not surprised to see that people were selling them on eBay for $1,495. Like come on now, who’s really paying that? If that’s too steep for you there were some other sites that either had waiting lists or restock email notifications with price tags that reached from $450 to $750. Still too rich for my blood!
While surfing one of my favorite online shoe retailers EGO Official I noticed they had the perfect dupe for the $750 YEEZY’s for 1/10th of the price. EGO Officials Cosmic Lace Up Ankle Boot was constructed almost identical to the Kanye originals. Both bootie has a 4 inch minimum heel and features a lace up detail along the entire shoe all the way up the ankle around the calf with enough string to wrap around more than a few times. Both YEEZY and EGO Official booties come in very similar color ways (nude & black).
I know you’re waiting for the price of the EGO Cosmic Lace Up Boots like some others are still sitting on a waiting list for these YEEZY Season 4’s. So I won’t make you wait any longer. For $54.99 (yea $60 bucks) you can grab these up and start re-creating looks for the fall/winter weather. If you do decide to treat yourself to a little retail therapy I’d love to see how you wear them using #TSDesignerDupers.
Until the next designer dupe find.
xoxo,
Summer Terry
