STEAL SUMMER’S LOOK: KIMONOS
If you’ve noticed like I have Kimonos are big in season right now. They’ve been for a while but spring is the perfect season to pull them out. They’re light, they’re comfortable, they can make the entire outfit and they are transitional in terms of how you could style it.

I’m a ZARA addict I can admit that. But I am a realist when it comes to shopping and price point. Right now ZARA has some of the most beautiful Kimonos on the market ranging from $49 to $149. That’s not super expensive but I like to look for a bargain where I can. And when I tend to do that lately AMAZON has been coming through for the kid. I found more than a few very stylish long kimonos. Some were even as affordable at $28, which was the case for this Peacock & Blossoms Old Shanghai Kimono in Jade.
This Peacock & Blossoms Old Shanghai Kimono drapes perfectly on the body with continuous print throughout the entire garment. You can wear it open or tied closed as it has inside ties and comes with a sash tie belt that is removable and belt loops that are not very noticeable in case you didn’t want to wear the sash tie. I love the bottom side slits that allow for air to move inside the kimono giving you that gone with the wind look while sashaying down your personal runway. What’s a functional kimono without pockets? This kimono features a french seam finish with pockets along the side. I’m 4ft 11″ and it was perfect in length once I put some heels on.
The best thing and most fiscally gracious thing about this gorgeous kimono is that it was under $30 and comes in an array of 14 different color ways and prints. I guess you guys know what I’ll be wearing all spring and summer lol. Check them out for yourself here before splurging at some of your favorites stores for a look that you can get for less. If you do purchase it I’d love to see how you rock it by using the hashtag #styledbysummer on Instagram.
Happy Shopping,
