LET’S TALK SKIN: SELFCARE SUNDAY WITH A LANEIGE SKINCARE LINEUP
Most of you know how dedicated I’ve been to one particular skincare line for some odd 3 years but I decided to switch it up lately. I mean what type of lifestyle blogger would I be if I didn’t try new things here and there right? Well for the past 3-4 months I’ve been using a new skincare line called LANEIGE! LANEIGE is a korean skincare line with a plethora of products but I’ll share with you my self-care Sunday LANEIGE line up as of late.
As a quest to remain forever young in appearance well into my mid 30’s those of you who have been regular readers of my blog or follow me on Instagram @iamsummerterry you know I take my skincare very seriously! I don’t dibble and dabble with too much on my face and when I do I give it a consistent 90 days or longer if I really love it. I first found out about LANEIGE due to working in beauty, health and wellness PR. So I had all the information on the brand and their background in water science that addresses all skin types to deliver a natural glow. And y’all know I’m that Glow Goddess when it comes to this melanin. I did my research on which products were best for someone like me with combination to oily skin and I grabbed up the Multi Cleanser, the Essential Power Skin Toner for Combination to Oily Skin, the Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel and the Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask.
Coming from using a gel based cleanser with no lather for years it was different to go to a cream based cleanser that would lather into a foam. Not to say one is any better than the other, it was just different. I love that the Multi Cleanser is a 4 in one cleanser where it melts away makeup and sunscreen, cleanses out all the impurities in my pores and gently exfoliates dead skin away. It also doesn’t have a scent to it and a little goes a long way. I can’t stand skincare products with heavy scents. I have very sensitive skin, so sensitive that my skin will tell me right after one use if it’s not a match for it. This was not the case of the Multi Cleanser as with each rinse my skin felt hydrated, invigorated, and clean!
Following after cleansing I would use the Essential Power Skin Toner for Combination to Oily Skin (you can see I used this a lot)! Although I loved how the toner kept my skin hydrated, it maintained moisture throughout and provided a softness to my skin I did have one personal con. That is the fact that it’s not a spray on toner. I don’t like doing too much unnecessary rubbing to my face if it can be prevented. Outside of that, that toner worked as it should flushing out anything clogged in my pores and refining the texture of my skin. I use this duo twice a day (morning and night) and have noticed a brightness to my complexion over the past few months.
Now what makes this regimen my self-care sunday line up is my weekly use of the Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel and the Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask. Ohhhhhhweeeee, where do I begin? First I absolutely love love love this combination. I like to use the Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel first. It works as more of an exfoliator with anti-aging antioxidants like raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, strawberry, and wolfberry extracts to maintain my youthful looking skin and konjac beads (a plant that grows in Asia) and chestnut extracts that left my skin feeling soft as silk.
That’s particularly why I use the Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask right after because they both have all those same antioxidants along with Vitamin B3. So what’s so special about Vitamin B3 Summer? Vitamin B3 is what helps to reduce wrinkles (forever young), reduce uneven skin tone (forever young), and helps heal acne (forever clear skin = forever young). I literally had a pimple big as day on my cheek this morning. Used my dynamic duo and by 8pm it had smoothly went down significantly as to where tomorrow I wouldn’t be surprised if it was completely gone. I told you my skin tells me exactly what it likes; and it likes LANEIGE!
You can find LANEIGE products in Sephora stores and online here and they are affordably priced. I would say stop in your local Sephora store get acquainted with the product line, test some things our and create your own self-care Sunday line up. Until next time….
Happy Shopping,
xoxo ~ Summer Terry

Who int trying to look forever young?! Your skin is flawless so I’m definitely going to give it a try. I really wanna try the repairing mask because I have acne scarring on my cheeks. Any suggestions for dark under eye circles? New subby
Hi Lala, apologies for the late response. For dark spots or under eye circles I would suggest anything with Vitamin C. Try some Vitamin C serums and invest in an Aloe plant. I swear that on my face every night as a mask. That aloe will work.
