STEAL SUMMERS LOOK: NYE IN ALL BLACK METALLIC LACE

Happy New Year!!!

How many of you dressed up and showed out on New Years Eve? Well you’re not alone. This year I decided to try something different taking a que from my style icons Jennifer Lopez and Kim K West.

I always admired an all over lace look and two Divas who always seem to hit the look on the nail is fellow Bronx native J.Lo and Cali bred Kim K West.

 

 

Their look always exudes major sex appeal with the illusion of showing more than they actually are.

 

 

New Years Eve was the perfect occasion for me to give it go. I found the perfect option on my favorite online boutique at the moment Boohoo for a very affordable price.

 

The Jordyn Metallic Lace Maxi Dress was part of the, Cali cool girl, Jordyn Woods collection with Boohoo. It features an all over down to the floor metallic lace detail with long sleeves and a round crew neck opening.

 

 

Now that I had the perfect main event…the dress, I had to find supporting pieces that would highlight the dramatic flair on the dress. First on the list was under garments since this dress was see thru. I was able to find a bodysuit on Boohoo as well but I have to be honest and say I DON’T recommend purchasing if you are a larger breasted woman. The top support is nothing how it’s advertised in the picture. Instead of lifting my girls it smushed them down (how disappointing). Thank God for the dark lights & dramatic detail that it was hardly noticeable.

 

 

 

To finish up the look I added my black faux fur barely there heels from Easy Pickenz, black leather Moto jacket from Zara circa 2014, and small classic flap Chanel bag. Using my creativity I looped my Michael Kors gold locket around a black sneaker lace and wallah…a  chocker!

 

What I also loved about this dress is that I have so many layering ideas for it. This will not be a one wear piece. If you’re interested in the dress I’d advise you to check it out now because it has dropped in price even though it was not expensive in the first place.
