SEARCHING FOR SPRING SIGNATURE SCENTS

My mother always told me a woman should have a signature scent. Well I’ve had plenty and now I’m ready for my spring line up.

I love parfum. Let me say it again…I LOVE PARFUM. I agree with my Mother a woman should have a signature scent. However mine changes with the season. I went through a D&G Light Blue phase which many ladies did. Then I went through a Jadore phase which I still love but get bored with at times. So during one of my many runs to Sephora I strolled through the fragrance section to peruse some scents for spring.

After many spritzes, sprays, and sniffing of the coffee beans and repeating that I finally found my top 4 choices for signature spring scents. Yes I’m aware I said 4…stay with me here, lol.

I noticed I like soft, light powder, seductive scents and that’s exactly what I got with Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Flowerbomb takes you to a enchanted oriental flower garden with the help of sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, ballerina freesia, and Patchouli (these are the notes if you want to look them up).

 

I then fell for the Chloe. Another fresh, floral, powdery rose fragrance. It’s soo light and not overbearing in the least bit. Just how I like my perfumes. Chloe has top notes of pink peony, freesia, and lychee that gives off the freshness. At the heart, midnotes of magnolia flower, lily of the valley, and rose embody the femininity of the scent. Lastly, to get that light powdery scent a base of cedarwood, amber, and honey is used.

Saving the best two for last brings me to Chanels Coco Mademoiselle. What a spirited and sensual fragrance. Following the theme of the other two with a light powdered scent. I’m not sure what the notes are in this parfum but it’s very similar to the Flowerbomb as far as the reminiscence of an oriental flower garden.

And lastly my AB-S0-LUTE favorite is CLEAN’s Warm Cotton. This scents just gives me a straight out the shower, fresh, squeeky clean smell. I’ve even been told that I smell like a air freshener plug in. I cannot express how awesome this parfum is. It carries notes such as citrus, watery green pear, verbena, floral essences, fruit essences, marine essences, jasmine, orange flower, musk, fougere, and amber for a crisp, soft, sexy scent.

If you’re in the market for switching up your signature scent please try if not two then all of these. I promise you would not be disappointed.
