I personally am a fan of FENTY Beauty where I have swapped out my Maybelline and NARS foundations for what I feel is THE best foundation for African American women. So I was extremely excited to find out about the new 2019 products launches coming this month.

Rihanna is starting the new year off making sure we all grace through 2019 with flawless complexions using not only her wide range of FENTY Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundations but the new additions to the gang. Announced at the top of the year the Pro Filt’r family will expand to setting powders, concealers, and more..yes more foundation shades. That means the already 40 shade range foundations will be getting 10 new shades to give an even wider variety of skin inclusivity. YASSS MUVA! The 10 new shades will be 105, 145, 185, 235, 255, 345, 385, 445, 495, and 498. Talk about finding your PERFECT match!

What I’m geeked out about the most are the Pro Filt’r Concealers and the Pro Filt’r Setting Powders. Now that FENTY will have 50 total foundation shades they will also have 50 creamy, creaseproof, longwear concealer shades. Rihanna has also taken the guessing game out of determining your shade by creating corresponding Pro Filt’r Concealer shades to match your foundation depending on how light or dark you desire your coverage.

When I found out about the Pro Filt’r Setting Powder I thought to myself I can finally hang up the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder and rock a full FENTY Beauty face. The Pro Filt’r Setting Powder will come in 8 truly translucent shades made for any skin tone to brighten, smooth, and set your makeup to last with no flashback. Isn’t that what we all want though? Makeup that does make up look like ghosts in a photo or that our face doesn’t match our body. Well Rihanna and the FENTY Beauty team have done amazing job at that no matter what shade you are from the fairest to the most melanin dripped. I’m not going to lie I didn’t dive all the way in with FENTY products upon the launch. My makeup routine is fairly simple (foundation, finishing powder, setting powder, bronzer an highlight). However, I feel way more than ready to swap out my current everyday staples for a full every day FENTY Beauty collection.

Along with the new Pro Filt’r additions there will be tons of makeup tools to aid us in creating these flawless. There will be their new Powder Puff Setting Brushes, Lil Precision Makeup Sponge Duo, and the Concealer Precision Brush. All these new items are set to launch next Friday, January 11th at fentybeauty.com, Sephora, Harvey Nichols, and Sephora locations in JC Penny stores. Who’s ready to go full on bizzerk next week?
