FASHION NEWS: H&M x KENZO CAMPAIGN FIRST LOOK
H&M is back at it again with a new collaboration campaign with KENZO. From what I’ve seen I can sum this collaborative effort up in a few words: intensified color, bold prints, and fun.
Take a look at the first images from the campaign after the jump….
The H&M x KENZO campaign enlisted the likes of seven very different celebrities and personalities that couldn’t been any further from each end of the spectrum. You will see such celebs and personalities such as: Iman, Chloe Sevigny, Rosario Dawson, Chance the Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Suboi, and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.
The first round of images are from Iman, Chance The Rapper, and rapper Suboi. Kenzo has enlisted iconic photographer Jean-Paul Goude to add his signature hand made cut-up style, slicing and reassembling the prints to express the exuberance and character of the collection.
On coming together to make this magic happen KENZO creative directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon says “We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for KENZO x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection”.
Jean-Paul had shared sentiments with his statement, “Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the KENZO x H&M campaign is a real adventure. I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style”.
The H&M x KENZO Collection launches in over 250 H&M stores worldwide and online on November 3, 2016. Until then you’ll be able to fully enjoy all the images from the rest of the campaign with Rosario Dawson, Chloe Sevigny, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez on October 17th.
What do you think of what you see so far?
