It’s been a minute since I’ve brought you a TopshelfDiva. Well I’ve been scouring for some inspiration and I have to admit I’ve been sitting on this beauty, Giselle Daniel. I’m one of those women who doesn’t mind giving another women a compliment, hi-five, and/or a platform. I had been following Giselle on Instagram for some time now, 6 months to be exact. I was initially drawn to Giselle because of her hair. This Diva’s hair was always slayed and she was constantly dressed to the 9’s. Mixing her looks between corporate cutie to street chic Giselle had me always double tapping. I got a chance to pick Giselle’s brain about her fashion inspiration, fave places to shop and more.

Where do you find fashion inspiration? 

I would love to say my fashion inspiration comes from Vogue or Chanel (though I’m completely obsessed), but honestly I just have an eye for things different. I believe fashion is always revolving and what was will always be; just in a modern look. With that I’m big on vintage and just things that compliment my body. I don’t like looking like everyone else; no matter how “popular” it may be.

Which celeb closet would you want to run up in? And Why?

June Ambrose!!! Like OMG, she is the bomb.com (do people still say that? lol).  She’s amazingly creative and her style is impeccable!

 

 

 

Where are some of your favorite places to shop? And Why?

I am a huge thrift shopper, yaasss lol. I love saving money and there are usually limited pieces if not 1 in a particular item.  Therefore I’m not walking around in something everyone else is wearing. TopShop and Zara are also some of my faves because their pieces are classy and timeless.

How would you describe your personal style?

Complimentary sexy! I love to wear clothing that highlight my best features; yet tone down the features I believe should be left to the imagination.
