LET’S TALK SKIN: DOVE PURELY PAMPERING SHEA BUTTER AND WARM VANILLA BODY CREAM
If you live New York you know that winter in here. Last week we were seeing high 70’s degrees and now we’ve dropped to high 30 degrees in the mornings and maybe high 60 degrees during peak time. With that cold air we have to make sure we properly keep our skin moisturized and Dove’s Purely Pampering Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla Body Cream is a must for your winter skin care routine.
I usually have really smooth skin in the summer months and super dry skin in the winter. With the Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla Body Cream I don’t have to worry about anymore. It’s a white whipped consistency of shea butter that nourishes the skin. I usually apply it to my body right after I get out the shower. That’s the best time to moisturize because you lock in your moisture in your skin while it’s still damp. Every time I use it, it leaves my skin so smooth and silky. Not to mention it has this calming warm vanilla scent that’s not overwhelming at all.
Now I may be partial because I’m a Dove supporter. I use the body washes and the deodorant (sometimes) so when I saw this I stocked up and purchased a few of them. What also caught my attention was that fact that I’m a sucker for anything with shea butter and/or vanilla and I adored the clean packaging of it being in a tub.
I will say that found this Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla Body Cream in one of those general stores that sell all kinds of house supplies. They don’t even have it listed on the Dove website so you might have to search for it. Could have been a product that they decided not to release as an official part of the product line and shipped it to general stores to get rid of. Either way if you see if don’t sleep on it! The price will vary depending on the store you get it from but I paid about $3.50 for mine.
