TOPSHELFDIVA OF THE MONTH: SADE ABDUL-AHAD

I’ve been toying with the idea of highlighting women living what I believe is a Topshelf Society lifestyle. Now that can mean anything from  fashionistas, women following their dreams,  women who use their journey to inspire, women doing amazing things in their communities, or just anything that exudes positivity. This weeks’ TopshelfDiva of the Week is Fashionista and Clothing Designer Sade Abdul-Ahad.

I found this lovely lady on Instagram about 2 years ago. I was drawn to her perfectly curled slayed hair and fierce fashion sense. It wasn’t enough to like a few of her pictures so I started to follow her. I was on her page so much I formed a friendship with her in my head to the point of when she got engaged last year I was overjoyed with happiness and congratulated her. I’ve watched Sade put together some amazing looks….take a gander.

Day after day, week after week, month after month of commenting and sharing a love of fashion with her she became my Instagram Crush. I was sooo uber excited when I found out she was starting her own clothing line, Fola Sade Clothing.

Fola Sade Clothing exemplifies elegance, class, and sexy all in one.  It’s already become a huge hit with women all over the social sphere rocking  Fola Sade dresses. I love that the sizes range from 4-14 and they are very versatile. Just take a look at her Fall /Winter 2014 Collection to see what I’m talking about.

I’m in love with her dresses because they are perfect for women with curves like myself. It’s hard to find things that either accentuate your curves in the best way or don’t that take away from it.
