As I sit here looking out my window at the turning leaves flailing in the air on the trees branches from the gust of wind, staring at the increasingly grey clouds producing immense heavy downpours it’s clear that summer is officially gone! It also made me think of my lack of adequate footwear for this type of weather. Yes rain boots! As a New Yorker I know how nasty the weather gets between October through April and nobody likes nor wants soggy cold feet. Dang, October through April sounds soo long, Jesus be an all inclusive trip to sunshine somewhere soon! Anywho, while he’s working on that I began my search for a pair of rain boots that weren’t your typical rain boot style or design. I came across some that I thought were not only suitable but chic, dope AF, and most importantly affordable.

Below you’ll find 10 rain boots under $150 that I’m currently obsessing over and have made it to being what I call #certifiedtopshelf. I’m even quite sure you’ll find a pair of two that hit you in the stomach with the “I have to have these” gut punch. Let me know which ones are calling your name. I’m pretty sure you can tell which two made it to my shopping cart. And if you do cop a pair and rock them on the gram tag me. and use the hashtag #certifiedtopshelf. I’d love to see how you style them up or down!

Until Next Time….Happy Shopping!

xoxo,

Summer Terry

As someone who has moved from Cali to Colorado I need to really invest in some good rain & snow boots. I definitely need the talks ones. If my feet ankles get wet it’s a rap LOL

Oh yes, you can’t play games in Colorado! Anything lower then a mid-calf is unnecessary. Tall is the way to go!

Yes, rainboots are a must in New York! I was not aware this season brought so much rain but I scored the CUTEST Jeffrey Campbell ankle rain boots. I’m in love!

It will be more rain to come. Make sure you get some higher than the ankle too! Just in case!
